In September 23, 2023, The International Institute for Peace Through Tourism held a conference in New York City to mark the significant occasion of a change in presidency of the organization.
Founded in the 1970’s by Louis D’Amore, IIPT has been engaged in numerous activities surrounding the concept that tourism can promote peace in the world. Going forward, IIPT will be led by new president Ajay Prakash and a group of chapter presidents and at-large peace ambassadors. By Bea Broda
