Jordan Azraq Wetlands Reserve designated as an official IIPT Peace Park

Donald King, Ambassador at Large for the International Institute for Peace through Tourism, recently led an IIPT delegation from South Carolina to Jordan. While in Jordan the delegation designated Azraq Wetlands Reserve as an official IIPT Peace Park.

Also, the delegation recognized the Al-Awon Charity in Azraq, which provides educational services for 160 Syrian refugee children, as an IIPT project that helps “heal the wounds of conflict.”
