IIPT 37th ANNIVERSARY–JORDAN–MAY 14-21, 2023

Dear IIPT FAMILY:

As we end this important year of transition, the IIPT Board of Directors would like to thank each and every one of you for your faithfulness and hard work towards the realization of IIPT’s Mission, and for your attendance and participation at our most recent IIPT FAMILY MEETING. As promised, attached please find the REGISTRATION FORM for our 37th Anniversary event in Jordan next year. At this important Celebration, we will pay special Tribute to Dr. Louis D’Amore, global visionary and leader extraordinaire, who founded and has led the International Institute for Peace Through Tourism to a place of international prominence, admiration and respect. Under Dr. D’Amore’s shepherding, IIPT has not only introduced the concept of Peace Through Tourism but has also built a phenomenal organizational infrastructure and movement to implement tangible, measurable programmatic and policy initiatives including the dedication of 450 global Peace Parks on six of the seven continents around the world.

Dr. D’Amore has also brought together top government, corporate and civic leaders as well as leading intellectuals across the globe to address some of the most pressing issues of our time. One such example is his spearheading a global summit on Climate Change in Lusaka, Zambia in 2011, which has proven to be both prescient and revolutionary in its findings and its global recommendations. Our Brother has dedicated nearly four decades of his Life; especially his time, resources and endless sacrifices to achieve the critically important Mission of Peace Through Tourism. President Zelensky, after being engaged in a deadly war throughout 2022, told the American people  in his surprise visit to Washington, D.C.: “I wish you Peace”. Lou D’Amore has understood this for a long time.  We owe him an immeasurable debt of gratitude.

Our next major goal in Jordan is to officially pass the Baton of IIPT’s Presidency to Mr. Ajay Prakash. We are very proud of his distinguished achievements and grateful for his many contributions already made to IIPT. This ascendancy, therefore, deserves our full support.  Finally, during this Anniversary event, we will rededicate our Global Peace Park at Bethany Beyond the Jordan, dedicate a new Peace Park at the Azraq Wetlands Preserve, and Tour some of Jordan’s most iconic sites. This will be a spectacular time of Reunion, Renewal and Celebration for our entire global family. Therefore, we ask and encourage all leaders and members of every chapter, all Advisory Board members, Ambassadors, and all other members of the IIPT Family to please make every effort to be a part of this historic occasion.

For planning purposes, we ask that you please complete your Registration Form as comprehensively as possible and click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.

Please return it to Mr. Donald King (Email: travelking47@gmail.com) at your earliest possible convenience (please note important deadlines).

We look forward to a great year in 2023 and wish you and your families HAPPY HOLIDAYS and a most blessed and prosperous New Year !!!

Sincerely,

Timothy Marshall

Chairman
