IIPT Australian Chapter in partnership with UTS University of Technology Sydney, organised the IIPT Student Essay Peace Prize 2019.
Students from the Tourism and Events Management – Business School UTS, were invited to submit an essay on the following topic.
To what extent do tourists have a responsibility to build a sustainable and peaceful world through tourism
Carolyn Saba, was selected with a thoughtful and well researched opinion and observations on linking tourist responsibility, sustainability and peace through tourism.
Carolyn, was awarded with recognistion as an IIPT Student Ambassador and also received a Travel Voucher sponsored by Flight Centre.
Her essay is published on the IIPT Global Newsletter, Peacetourism.org and Carolyn will be introduced to Prof. Fabio Carbone, International Tourism Management, Coventry University UK to enrol on his Online Course on Peace through Tourism.
